Hi I'm trying to make a mile tracker for my bike on my nxt. I created the program and it worked, except my light sensor freaked out in bright daylight.

I decided that I would use a different color and so I just wanted to make some slight fixes on my program. However, when I browsed my computer to find the.rbt for the program i needed to edit I didn't find it. However as this program was on my NXT i decided to just get it off there.

I figured that by using the upload button on the Memory tab of the NXT window in the editing environment, I could retrieve the program back onto my computer and edit it from there. However, no such luck. I found that the thing was saved as a.rxe file after uploading. The environment failed to open the.rxe. Is there any online converter or any other way for me to convert the.rxe to.rbt format so I can tweak the programming?

NeXTExplorer is a Windows program which lets you explore files on the NXT and PC. It also lets you decompile NXT executable programs (.rxe,.rtm, and.sys). Can be used to convert.wav files into sound files for the NXT brick (.rso files). RXE files are generated by the LEGO MINDSTORMS programming. MINDSTORMS NXT Software) stores its binary data in the RBT format.
