Full House was one of my favorite shows growing up, and I have really enjoyed watching Fuller House so far. It's great to see the classic characters back, and the new characters do a great job of fitting right in as well.
It has the same cheesy family sitcom humor that we loved about Full House, along with the heartwarming moments and classic catchphrases. Even though Fuller House is available on Netflix, I personally always like having physical copies of movies and TV shows, so I was really glad to see that they put this out on DVD. It would have been cool to get some special features on here maybe of behind the scenes footage, or cast interviews, but I guess it's not a huge deal. I think that anyone who watched Full House will appreciate this show, because it was clearly created for fans of the series.
Any negative reviews that you see on the internet are usually from people who either never watched Full House, or people who just hate nostalgia and fun. If you're a Full House fan, I would recommend checking this out. I watched this on Netflix but when it came out on DVD, I had to get it here as well since I like to have a physical copy. It's a great blast from the past and yeah, it can be corny or cheesy at times, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
The only real issue I have with the season (aside from being too short since I want more) is in the opening scene the middle son says he knows all the bad words and one of them has been changed to 'Trump' in an overdub. That occurs twice in the scene.
As a deaf lipreader, it just grates on me and kinda messes up a fun memory lane trip. Other than that, I love watching this show.
This is number two unfortunately due to the original set being damaged on arrival (loose disc scratched up). Not a big deal though cause the replacement was in perfect condition. The show is very reminiscent of the original full house. I can't help but love it. Almost all of the characters of the original set make an appearance (save for Michelle aka Mary-Kate and Ashley).
I wish that they could be convinced to make a brief appearance, even for only one episode, just to show up with the old 'family' but it's up to them. Great show and great products. I can't wait for the second season to pop up for sale.
